The Twin6 is a 2.5-way studio monitor designed to deliver exceptional transparency, definition, dynamics, and precision. Its innovative Focus Full Range mode allows the monitor to function as two systems in one, where the woofers alone operate as full-range speakers, providing enhanced flexibility for different listening and mixing scenarios.
Equipped with a newly developed beryllium tweeter featuring an M-shaped protective grille, the Twin6 ensures highly accurate and detailed high-frequency reproduction. It also includes a redesigned woofer with an extended frequency range up to 10 kHz, specifically optimized for Focus Mode, resulting in a more cohesive and transparent sound across the spectrum.
The monitor incorporates Focal’s patented TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) technology within the woofer design, reducing distortion by up to 50% in the critical 1 kHz to 3 kHz range. This advanced feature, inherited from the flagship Trio11 monitors, enhances midrange clarity and overall accuracy.
