The A32pro is based on a new modular hardware platform and packed with analog and digital interfaces. In addition to the 32×32 balanced studio-quality analog inputs and outputs and the stereo main out up to 192kHz, the A32pro offers both ADAT and MADI – probably the most widely used digital audio interfaces available. In addition to the optical first MADI module, another SFP MADI module can be added. Different modes allow redundant operation of both interfaces: If one fails, the other one is activated automatically. Speaking of redundancy: If desired, two power supplies can be connected to the device. All power supplies and interfaces are permanently monitored: In the event of a failure, an error message is output on the TFT screens and on the General Purpose Output (GPO) to connect it to additional hardware. Packed into a compact 1RU, the highly integrated converter is equipped with 32 x 32 balanced analog channels, brought out on eight D-SUB connectors. They deliver studio levels up to +20dBu, individually adjustable in 1dB steps. The sophisticated design, using the latest generation of ESS converters, accompanied with a temperature-compensated clock and jitter reduction PLL, guarantees best crystal clear sound up to 192kHz. The A32pro is not just a converter, but thanks to its flexibility, using a sophisticated routing matrix, it is also a digital format converter for integrating your exisiting and future MADI and ADAT equipment. Even operation of the A32pro is done without any compromise, almost self explaining, as with all our products: A total of four multitouch TFT screens show the levels of all 64 I/O channels, it can’t be done better. Controlling the unit also benefits from the screens due to it’s highly intuitive graphical user interface. Remote control is of course also possible via USB, MIDI, MIDI-over-MADI or GPI. Even a simple MIDI CC mode let’s you control the most wanted parameters from distance. The two headphone outputs let you monitor any analog or digital input or output. For more demanding tasks the headphone monitoring matrix even feature a M/S decoder mode and a balanced operation mode for high-end headphones. You need more? Then the A32pro Dante – a version with an additional 64 x 64 Dante channels – is what you need. The A32pro brings our 12 years of experience in converter technology to the point, uncompromising to the last detail. All packed in only 1HU rack housing, of course fanless!
The A32pro Dante is our flagship connecting digital and analog audio to the world of Dante: All interfaces, whether analog, MADI or ADAT, are brought using the integrated routing matrix into the Dante network. Of course, all features of the A32pro are still available. The A32pro Dante is not just a converter – it’s also the ultimate problem solver thanks to its incredible flexibility, thanks to its modular hardware platform. Overall, the A32pro Dante processes 386 channels, all highly integrated into a 1 slim rack unit. Enumerating all the configurations of the A32pro Dante is almost impossible: in addition to the 32 x 32 studio-grade balanced analog inputs and outputs up to 192kHz, there are a stereo main out, four ADAT I/O, two MADI I/O ports (SFP slots) and of course Dante, brought out redundant on two RJ45 jacks. Everything is routable in groups of 8 channels each. Clarity and operational reliability has first priority: Both Dante and MADI are laid out redundant, an essential feature for live operation! Of course, a second power supply can be connected, and thanks to the four multitouch TFT screens, the user always has full control. Controlling the unit also benefits from the touch screens: Operating the unit has never been more a pleasure. The A32pro units can also be controlled by the RemoteFish App (PC and Mac) via USB (USB-over-MIDI), MIDI, MIDI-over-MADI and Remote-over-Dante. The two HQ headphone outputs can monitor any analog or digital input or output: Ideal for control or monitoring. As a monitoring format mono, stereo and even M/S is possible. In addition to the dual stereo operation a fully balanced mode using both outputs for even more output power is available.

FERROFISH VERTO SERIES The VERTO series make integration of digital ADAT and MADI into an existing DANTE network really easy. The compact enclosure of 1RU height and a ½-19“ width saves a lot of rack space. Every VERTO device features word clock I/O for external synchronization and is remote controllable via MIDI or MIDI-over-MADI (VERTOMX). No matter if used together with our A16 MKII, A32 or Pulse16, or a converter from another brand – simply connect to the VERTO via ADAT or MADI – and you’re ready to go! REMOTE CONTROL VIA THE DANTE NETWORK Both the VERTO series and all other converters from Ferrofish can be remotely controlled via the DANTE Network. If all devices are connected via MIDI, the VERTO converts all DANTE audio streams to ADAT or MADI and the control commands sent over DANTE into MIDI remote control messages. The VERTOMX offers an additional feature: Instead of a separate MIDI Port the MIDI messages are extracted from the MIDI-over-MADI port.
