The Gainlab Audio Auditor HP1 is a high-performance 500 Series headphone amplifier designed for professional studio monitoring. Featuring a pure Class A amplifier topology, ultra-low distortion, wide frequency response, and exceptionally high headroom, it delivers transparent, accurate headphone monitoring across a wide range of headphone impedances. Built-in protection circuits, mono monitoring, mute functionality, and line-through outputs make the Auditor HP1 an ideal solution for recording, mixing, mastering, and broadcast environments.
GLA-MC1 aka. BISHOP We are proud to announce that the new family member of Gainlab Audio products has arrived! Our own designed BISHOP all tube channel unit brings much more than you expect from a regular high quality channel strip. The heart of the unit based on the mic preamp which consist three vacuum tubes constructed in all tube design. There are inputs for the mic and instrument on the front while mic and line also selectable on back panel. Over the regular switches of phase, polarity and phantom power we found a special drive pot which is available for colouring the instrument input through a discrete solution. The big enlighted eye catching ring for stepped gain selector is separated in two selectable scales which gives ultimate capabilities to make gain even until +60dB. The VU meter in the middle of the unit is responsible for representing the output level while right next to it we can find the two GR meters of the double slope optical compressor. This exclusive design of Gainlab Audio gives very unique possibilities to the hand of recording engineer by applying a second slope to the loved working method of LA-2A solution. This extension in functionality is well controllable with character, timing and threshold options. Right above the output attenuator we can find the HPF with two options. At the final end of the front panel there is a secret weapon called Dynamic Air Band with two selectable options. This function can work as a regularly known and loved Air Band while using with a compressor turned on it reacts to the actual compression level and gives the unique character of high frequency components to the recorded sound. The unit is build with the same rugged material selection which is known from Gainlab Audio products. The engraved front panel and the high quality inside components stands together to bring long lasting value to the customer’s audio production. This demand has led to the development of saturators that offer distinctive sound and extensive adjustment options, allowing users to instantly add analog warmth to any recording—whether applied to individual tracks, buses, or during mastering—all within a compact form factor. Many Gainlab Audio users have reported that the most frequently used feature on their devices is the Tube Boost. This feedback inspired the creation of a device that provides fully adjustable tube saturation, ensuring the sound is suitable for a wide range of production scenarios. This device is the GLA-TS1 Wizard Stereo Tube Saturator. The Input and Output controls allow users to easily adjust the saturation level to match the character of the source material and personal taste, with further refinement possible via the Feed function. Which, using the clean signal taken from the input, is capable of suppressing the clean signal content of the output signal, thereby providing additional control for setting the desired level of saturation.
The GLA-OP1 The Governor is a vacuum tube-based optical compressor that, thanks to its dual slope design with two threshold points, provides precise control over dynamic conditions. Its predecessor, used in the Bishop All-Tube Channel Strip, has become a notable reference in its own right. The Governor can operate in dual mono and stereo modes, allowing detailed parameterization for most dynamic processing operations. Its tube-based transformer output delivers the classic tube boost effect. Optional full-spectrum and high-frequency boost, side-chain filtering, and external side-chain signal input provide flexibility. The redesigned meter section offers a more informative display than traditional VU meters, making it easier to set the compressor’s two break points intuitively.
The Gainlab Audio Lieutenant is a premium studio monitor controller and command station designed to serve as the central hub of modern recording studios. It offers transparent relay-based volume control, flexible source selection, speaker management, integrated talkback, cue monitoring, Bluetooth connectivity, and an intelligent three-zone power sequencer. With advanced monitoring tools such as Focus, Pad, and Mute functions, the Lieutenant streamlines professional recording, mixing, mastering, and studio management workflows.
The Lieutenant is designed to be the true command center of the studio. It allows you to select between four sources and route them to three destinations, featuring a relay-based volume control. Additionally, its built-in power sequencer can manage the studio’s power distribution across three independent zones. It includes a separate Cue loop with headphone output, complete with a talkback system, as well as a master headphone output.Among its four input sources, two are stereo, balanced analog, one is a digital S/PDIF source, and one is Bluetooth. All three destination outputs are stereo, balanced analog. The output levels can be manually or automatically trimmed to ensure seamless switching between speaker pairs without volume discrepancies. A Pad function is available, which reduces the output volume by a preset amount with the press of a button, a Mute function is included, allowing you to instantly silence the output. A Focus function is built in, allowing you to isolate and monitor specific frequency ranges—low, mid, or high—for detailed analysis.
Many Gainlab Audio users have reported that the Tube Boost is the most frequently used feature on their devices. Inspired by this feedback, the Gainlab Audio GLA-TS1 Wizard Stereo Tube Saturator was created to provide fully adjustable tube saturation suitable for a wide range of production scenarios. Input and Output controls allow users to adjust the saturation level to match the character of the source material and personal taste, with further refinement via the Feed function, which suppresses the clean signal content for additional control. As a tube-based device, the Wizard naturally includes Bias control. It also allows shaping the tonal character of the saturation with a high-pass filter and a three-band preset equalizer. The device provides visual feedback for output levels and saturation, while the Pressure control offers dynamic shaping using a vari-mu principle, complete with a dedicated indicator.
