High-performance, Jensen transformer-coupled microphone preampThe 32Cpre+ takes the high-performance, Jensen JT-MB-CPCA transformer-coupled microphone preamp from the 32Classic studio console, combines it with the renowned Harrison LP/HP filters and delivers it for the first time in 500 Series format. Inspired by the iconic Harrison 3232, the 32Classic mixing console and preamp is an American icon reimagined, delivering the tone that helped create some of the most iconic albums of the 70s’ and 80s’. Thanks to the 32Cpre+, that Harrison sound is now available in 500 series format.

Classic feed-forward VCA compressorIn the realm of audio engineering, Dave Harrison, the founder of Harrison Audio, stands out as a pioneer in the development of music production technology. Ironically, Dave Harrison himself was initially skeptical about compressors, a sentiment shared by his friend and legendary music producer and engineer, Bruce Swedien. Both held the belief that music should be captured authentically, without interference. However, the requirement for a compressor arose from the broadcast market's demands, seeking a tool to control dynamics and prevent clipping. To meet this demand, Harrison Audio ventured into the realm of compressors, with the result proving extremely effective. Its transparent 'leveling' capabilities, achieved with just a few dBs of gain reduction, quickly made it indispensable in music production for delicately smoothing signals, particularly on vocals, guitars, and other instruments with wide dynamic range. Over time, this compressor's ability to 'dig in' became apparent, transforming it into a sought-after vibe compressor when higher levels of gain reduction were applied. Dave Harrison's initial skepticism gave birth to a tool that not only met the broadcast market’s demands but also became relied on in the world of music production. Thanks to the Comp module, the distinctive Harrison sound is now accessible in the 500 Series format.

The Harrison Audio D510r Chassis is a flexible 10-slot 500 Series rack system designed for professional studio, live sound and hybrid production environments. Its rugged steel enclosure provides a durable 19-inch, 3U rackmount solution for building a customized collection of 500 Series processing modules.The D510r features a high-powered internal power supply delivering over 4 watts per slot, with specifications exceeding the standard 500 Series power requirements. This provides ample power for compatible 500 Series modules while maintaining a robust and reliable platform for demanding production environments.The chassis provides ten XLR inputs and ten XLR outputs for straightforward integration of installed modules. It can also be expanded with optional Harrison D510 system modules, including the D510mx analog summing mixer and D510dante Dante AoIP interface, allowing the system to grow into a more comprehensive studio or live-sound solution.With its 10-slot architecture, rugged construction and expandable design, the D510r provides a practical foundation for assembling a customized Harrison 500 Series processing system.

The Harrison Audio D510dante Dante AoIP Interface is an optional Dante interface card designed for the Harrison D510r 10-slot 500 Series rack system. It adds professional Audio over IP connectivity, allowing 500 Series processing modules installed in the D510r to become part of a Dante-based studio or live sound network.The interface provides 10 A/D channels and 14 D/A channels, with one A/D and D/A conversion path allocated to each of the D510r's ten 500 Series slots. Four additional D/A converters are also provided for future expansion. This architecture enables individual 500 Series modules to be integrated directly into a Dante workflow.With Dante networking, the D510dante can integrate 500 Series processing into a mix bus, subgroups or channel inserts on a Dante-compatible live sound console. In hybrid studio environments, its flexible Dante routing allows audio to be sent to and received from other devices across the network.The D510dante supports sampling rates from 44.1 kHz up to 96 kHz and uses standard RJ45 Ethernet connectivity. It can also operate with primary and secondary redundant network connections, making it suitable for professional networked audio applications where flexible routing and dependable connectivity are important.

The Harrison Audio D510r Mixer Module, officially designated as the D510mx, is an optional mixer interface designed for the Harrison D510r 500 Series rack system. When installed, it transforms the rack into a powerful 10 × 2 analog summing mixer, combining the outputs of installed 500 Series modules with two additional analog inputs.The D510mx occupies two slots in the D510r rack, leaving eight 500 Series module slots available. Outputs from slots 1–8 feed the first eight mixer inputs, while inputs 9 and 10 are supplied through the rear XLR inputs of the D510r. Each input provides individual level, pan and stereo-bus routing controls for flexible stereo mix creation.A dedicated main stereo output with level control and LED metering provides convenient control over the summed mix. The module also includes two independent front-panel headphone outputs, making the D510mx suitable for tracking, monitoring and portable mixing applications.When combined with the optional Harrison D510dante interface, the headphone outputs can also be used for monitor mixes sourced from the analog mix or connected Dante network devices, including DAW returns.

The Harrison Audio D510ua USB + ADAT Interface is an optional digital interface card designed for the Harrison D510r 10-slot 500 Series rack system. Installed via the rear panel, it transforms the D510r into a high-performance audio hub for hybrid studio, tracking and mixing workflows.The D510ua provides up to 10 analog inputs, 14 analog outputs and 16 channels of bi-directional ADAT I/O, providing a combined maximum of 26 inputs and 30 outputs across analog and digital connections. High-performance A/D and D/A converters are available across the D510r slots, with four additional D/A converters available for D510mx headphone mixes when the optional mixer module is installed.USB connectivity provides direct integration with a DAW, while the 16-channel bi-directional ADAT connection allows the D510 system to expand an existing digital audio setup. USB and ADAT can also be used simultaneously, providing flexible routing options for professional hybrid production environments.The D510ua features intuitive front-panel controls for switching and routing between USB and ADAT, as well as dedicated BNC Word Clock I/O for stable digital synchronization. It supports high-resolution audio up to 192 kHz and is compatible with both macOS and Windows systems.

3-band parametric EQ with HP filters Originally developed for the Harrison MR3 studio console, the MR3eq stands out as one of Harrison's most popular EQ designs, renowned for its punchy, smooth sound, and powerful sculpting capabilities. Introduced in 1981, the Music Recording 3 (MR3) console rapidly became the preferred tool for numerous leading engineers and studios worldwide, helping to create some of the most iconic albums from the 70s and 80s. Like all Harrison production tools, the MR3 EQ delivers the vibe to inspire artists and the precision for engineers to excel. Thanks to the MR3eq module, the distinctive Harrison sound is now accessible in the 500 Series format. The MR3eq is a high-performance analog EQ, crafted from decades of experience in equalizer and filter design. The circuit design of this EQ allows for precision in surgical tasks or the creation of broad musical strokes with lots of band interaction for a rich and colorful sonic character.
