The Triton Audio Tilt EQ is a compact microphone tone-shaping tool designed to make frequency adjustment simple and intuitive. Instead of using multiple EQ bands, a single control smoothly tilts the frequency spectrum from Low to High, allowing users to add warmth and body or enhance clarity, articulation and presence.
In addition to tonal shaping, the Tilt EQ provides +22 dB of clean amplification. It can connect directly to an XLR-equipped microphone or be placed anywhere between the microphone and preamp or mixer. Its electronics are housed in a robust metal chassis with balanced XLR input and output.
The Tilt EQ is designed for ribbon, dynamic and tube microphones and is powered by 48 V phantom power. The supplied phantom power operates the Tilt EQ circuitry and is not passed through to the connected microphone.
