Ovation PREMIUM is the most advanced show-control and media playback platform from Merging Technologies, designed for professional entertainment productions, immersive attractions, and broadcast environments. Initially developed for large-scale theme park installations, it is equally suited to cruise ships, theatres, and complex live event venues. The software integrates seamlessly with Dataton WATCHOUT and Ross Video systems while providing powerful real-time recording, editing, playback, and immersive audio capabilities through Flux SPAT and Dolby Atmos workflows.

D-USR Package Benefits

The Double Upgrade & Support Renewal (D-USR) package enables users running software that is two major releases behind to move directly to the latest Ovation PREMIUM version while renewing technical support coverage.

Upgrade to the Current Release
Gain access to the newest Ovation software version, including all current features, improvements, maintenance releases, and fixes delivered within the current product generation.

Preservation of Existing Options
All licensed features and options remain active after the upgrade. Additional functionality included within your software package becomes available upon license activation or reissuance.

Renewed Technical Support
D-USR restores eligibility for Merging Technologies support services, including complimentary key transfers and license ownership updates through the next major release cycle.

Software Update Notifications
Users continue to receive information regarding updates, hotfixes, and newly available features through the MT Portal and official knowledge base.

MassCore Requirement
Customers using the MassCore engine should also maintain a valid MassCore D-USR or USR+ plan to retain access to MassCore updates and support.

Eligibility
This D-USR package is intended for customers operating Ovation PREMIUM installations that are two major versions behind the current release. Systems that are only one version behind should use the standard USR package.

Advanced Features

Dolby Atmos ADM Playback
Import Dolby Atmos ADM files directly as cues for immediate playback through either a Dolby Atmos Renderer or the integrated Merging Renderer. Combined with the MassCore Engine, installations with up to 384 dedicated loudspeakers can be supported.

Flux SPAT and Dolby Atmos Connectivity
Designers can freely combine object-based audio, multichannel bus formats, and Ambisonics workflows within a single project. Ovation integrates natively with Flux SPAT and Dolby Atmos rendering environments for advanced immersive productions.

OSC Communication
Full OSC send and receive functionality enables extensive customization and integration with external devices, software platforms, and automation systems.

Automation Recording
Automation data, including OSC commands, can be recorded and replayed, helping production teams recreate immersive audio experiences consistently throughout rehearsals and performances.

Hybrid Immersive Audio Workflow
Support for traditional channel-based audio and Ambisonics workflows is included. Higher-order Ambisonics decoding up to seventh order is available with the optional VR Pack, while first- and second-order decoding are always supported.

Mixer Enhancements
The mixing environment includes matrix-style bus routing, mouse-wheel navigation, movable VCA and Group strips, routing presets, and expanded predefined speaker configurations.

ANEMAN 1.2 Integration
ANEMAN 1.2 provides support for MERGING+ANUBIS and ZOEM devices, unicast routing, enhanced network discovery and zone management, and Ross device plug-in compatibility.
